Engraving depicting a ship by the creator A. Kriezis. From the inscriptions it appears that the engraving shows the Hydriotian ship "LE SAN NICOLAOS" anchored in Marseille. It carries a Greek flag and was built in 1809 by A. Vokos.

Engraving depicting the ship "AGIA TRIAS" from the port of Hydra in Greece, where she was built in 1804. On the night of April 3, 1810, while off the coast of Sardinia, she was attacked by Algerians and after losing a large part of her crew she anchored and was transported in Algeria. The captain of the ship was seriously injured and the survivors were taken to prisons.

From the inscriptions it appears that the Naval Battle of Methoni is depicted on April 30, 1825. The squadron of the Hydra fleet under Admiral Andreas Miaoulis with captains Kriezis and Belebini attacks the enemy Turkish-Egyptian fleet anchored in Methoni. One frigate, three corvettes, three various men-of-war and three freighters were set on fire.
